Christopher Tisdale A classic artist who brings an edginess when delivering such tracks as "Let the Boy Go" and "Second Sight". He invokes the raw spirit of the 80's on "Hitch", which feels like the linchpin of this album.

Followed by "Meanwhile" and "Who I Am", Evan's raw tenor vocals cuts through these tracks to give this album a signature sound. Ending with "Undiscovered eyes", He leaves you with a track that is soulful and thought provoking.
I Love This Album Favorite track: Who I Am.

about

Meanwhile is a small collection of songs that cover the basics of all the ridiculous sounds that were competing for air time in my head. One song became such a cathartic experience in the writing process that I had to record it. Another was written in a dream. One song was written for my newborn son (now 6). A few others were written in some practice sessions with Taylor.
I hope you find Meanwhile to be a great listening experience. I enjoy listening to it. If you don't like it, then you're probably a weirdo commie.

about

Evan Lecker Lampasas, Texas

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Evan grew up a victim of the best and the worst of the late 80's and 90's. He eventually learned to accept this musical abuse and began to channel it into his craft. He believes the title "singer-songwriter" is code for songs that meander way too long and the difference between "indie" and "rock" is more about the cut of your jeans than the sound of your band. ... more
